How Can You Better Connect With Your Customers?
You might have the best business idea in the world, but if you don’t have customers then you’re never going to be a success. The world of business is cut throat and competitive, and part of making money involves persuading people to shop with you, rather than one of your better established competitors.
One way you can do this is by connecting with them, having fun and allowing them to feel as though they’re part of your brand. Here are just a few ways you can go about this.
Think About Your Premises
Do you have a shop, office or other kind of premises that customers come into in person to buy from you, have meetings etc? If so, think about how you could make a good impression here. From a pleasant space that’s comfortable and nicely decorated to a functional layout, to good customer service so that people aren’t waiting around excessively. A friendly and relaxed atmosphere will mean a good impression of your business, simple facilities like a water and tea and coffee machine in the waiting room can go a long way, so these are all things to think about.
Make Your Marketing Fun
Marketing can be one of the most fun aspects of your business, it’s a great way to promote your business and connect with your customers, think of fun ideas for ways you could go about this. Maybe you could fill canvas tote bags with goodies from your business and give them away as prizes, you could host events or attend trade expos. You could create a fun, viral video or ad that would really get people talking about your business, and so much more. Think outside the box, or get an established marketing company to come up with ideas for you. You want to make your brand stand out and ensure that it’s recognisable and portrays a positive image to your customers.
Be Social
Customers like it when brands connect with them, they like to feel a part of something. Don’t let your social pages read like a long list of complaints, get a conversation going. Retweet customer photos, ask their opinions, reply to any questions they have. You can share relevant memes and other viral content and generally be fun and social with your brand, do this and people are much more likely to want to connect with you. Keep the tone lighthearted unless you’re dealing with complaints, and just chat and enjoy the community you’ve created.
Have you considered ways in which you can better connect with your customers in business? How have you gone about this?
