Running a business has its highs and lows, the same being for each of your staff members and their experience in the company. Many may be happy for the most part, but there might come a time where they live the company. There should be a steady staff turnover in a typical business, but if you’ve got quite a high turnover, then that should be a cause for concern.
Here are a few reasons as to why you might have a high staff turnover.
Your Staff Didn’t Feel Valued
When you don’t appreciate your staff, then they’re not going to hold much respect for the company who employs them. One of the reasons for such a high turnover could be the lack of value the company holds for it’s staff members. When it comes to that value, it might be appreciating their input on projects, providing them with a great benefits package or involving them in more of the business in general. It’s harder to give this to everyone, but when it comes to losing really great staff, it’s worth that hard work to show the company’s appreciation for them and that they’re an important part of the business and the way it runs.

When your staff are coming into the same office every day, they are likely to become bored. However, they can have times of boredom, but the more important thing is that they feel happy within the environment. And probably the most common reason for leaving a company is to venture on to better things where there may be more career progression within another company.
